Another Round of 12 Loans

Another Round of Micro-Loans

Twelve more parents of our sponsored students received loans from the RCEF Micro-Finance Fund.

Each parent has written a business plan and taken a course on how to manage money.

The loans are given for 6 months to one year. The loan return rate has been excellent, almost 100%.

Chantal is in one of the photos. She is a very successful businesswomen selling beans wholesale. In 2020 she lost her business to the floods in Kigali. She has recovered with new loans from the Fund, and is again

experiencing success.

Thank you to Rotary International for awarding a Micro-Credit Grant to RCEF to help our deserving parents.

It all starts with sponsoring a child which provides school fees, uniforms, school supplies, health insurance, and supplemental food. Parents of sponsored children are then eligible for micro-loans.

With the support of sponsors, we are currently helping 140 students go to school.

Rwanda Children Educational Foundation’s mission is to give hope and bright futures to vulnerable children and youth in Rwanda.

Would help by sponsoring a child? Just click the donate button to make a tax-deductible gift. Grades K through Six is $27 per month or $325 per year.  Grades 9 -12 attend Boarding school, and sponsorship is $975 per year.
