Move in Day to RCEF Safe & Secure Houses

The buses brought the families.

and the trucks brought their belongings.

The Rwanda Children Educational Foundation students ended their second trimester of the school year and had a two-week break. RCEF used this time to move twelve families from Kigali to Bugesera.

The families boarded a rented bus and traveled to their new living quarters. Trucks brought their few belongings.

Each family moved into their assigned home. The children enjoyed climbing on their bunk beds and experiencing the new neighborhood.

The twelve families have spent time together during the past months in helping to clean up the yards, planting a community garden and cleaning the houses.

They are all happy to start new lives, and the students will start new schools for the last trimester of the school year.
