Getting Closer to Moving Day

This past Saturday, February 5th, was a workday at the construction site of 12 housing units and our RCEF House of Prayer. RCEF staff and families that will move into the houses gathered together to clean up the yards and walkways around each unit.
The beneficiaries held the signs naming each house. There was a time of prayer and rejoicing which included singing and dancing. Pastors led in prayers of thanksgiving.
Each Sunday there are over 250 people who come to this site and hold an outdoor church service. Pastors preach and the people sing.
Earlier this week the paint arrived. The construction crew will paint the interior and exterior of the buildings. Thank you to the donors who made this possible.

At the end of the day, the families planted trees at the site.
It was a happy time and a productive time.

The next step is the purchase of some basic furniture before we move the families from Kigali to Bugesera.
RCEF wants to thank all the people who have donated to this project. Twelve families will now have a safe and secure place to live.
