Rwanda, Pandemic & Food For Our Families

Samuel lives with his Aunt in Kigali. His family cannot afford to keep him with them. His parents have 10 children and are very poor. Samuel shows much potential so he lives with his Aunt in Kigali enabling him to attend school. He is in the 7th grade.

RCEF has given food to his Aunt’s family in Kigali and to his family out in the country.

Rwanda is under a stay at home order due to the coronavirus pandemic.  People can only leave their homes for food and medicine.  Schools are closed, and all work is done from home. This makes it almost impossible for the RCEF families to earn money. Most are without adequate food.

Yesterday, we had a sponsor donate $2500 to supply supplemental food fopr our 121 families for one month. We now have the resources to distribute food in April and May.

We sincerely appreciate the generosity of you, our donors.

Please pray for the safety of our Rwanda families and that they may receive enough food during this time.

Together we are making a difference!
