In a recent conversation, Rwanda Children Education Foundation’s Executive Director, Jeanine Mukarubega, described reasons why one rural district needs additional healthcare facilities.
Bugesera District while rural, is home to over 550,000 people. Many of these families are extremely poor and have no access to transportation. In order to receive medical care individuals must walk great distances.
The Polyclinic that RCEF have been constructing will make quality healthcare is readily available to many of these families.
