Rwanda Children Educational Foundation strives to equip Rwandan children with the knowledge and skills to sustain themselves and serve as role models for the transformation of their communities.
RCEF provides financial support for school fees, school uniforms and supplies. We are committed to ending extreme poverty there in Rwanda.
Education is the key to escape poverty.
While the numbers are improving, far too many of Rwanda’s children do not complete 6th grade or attend high school. One reason for this is they cannot afford to pay school fees. This is where our ministry steps in to help make dreams possible.
RCEF also helps the families of our sponsored boys and girls.
We provide supplemental food and low-cost government health insurance.
RCEF offers qualified parents a Rotary Global Grant micro-loan to start a small business. This is the first step in helping each family to escape poverty.
RCEF makes education available to boys and girls and enables their parents to earn a basic income.
To do this we need your help. It all begins with student sponsorship. We recently enrolled 21 new students in our program. Seventeen of these are still in need of sponsors.
