Rwanda Children Return to School

Rwanda Children Educational Foundation’s students return to school after a pause in the academic year because of Covid 19.

Our RCEF children are excited to get back to their schools and finish the school year. Covid-19 hit Rwanda in March of 2020, and schools closed to prevent the spread of the disease. The school year has been extended until July to make up for lost days in the classroom.

Our boys and girls are eager to get back to their studies, their teachers and especially their friends.

When Covid-19 hit in March, school ended and a lock-down began. Food was scarce. RCEF started a Relief Fund, and friends of RCEF children donated enough money to give supplemental food from March through July. Thank you to all who contributed to make this possible.

At present there are very few cases of Covid-19 in Rwanda. We are grateful to God that our boys and girls can finally return to school.

Would you like to help to pay school fees for Rwanda children caught in poverty?  Support a student – $325 per year ($27 per month) or give a one-time gift to support RCEF?
