Rwanda Children Educational Foundation held a Christmas Celebration for its students this past week. The children enjoyed the party that included a time to pray, writing thank you notes to their sponsors, a meal, dancing and receiving gifts. Students presented a Christmas drama to all in attendance.
There were many highlights, but lighting the sparklers on the cake before eating it was surely a big hit.
Jeanine Mukarubega, Executive Director, received a hug from a student to show his appreciation for this fun time.
Thank you to the Rwanda District Government for supplying a the room to hold this party and to the Minister of Education for joining us to present gifts.
Everyone had a wonderful time celebrating the birth of Jesus.
