Sedrick is a very small first grader in a Government School in the City of Kigali. After visiting with him at his school, the RCEF team went to his home.
There we met his grandmother and his brother. Sedrick’s mother died, and now the grandmother raises her daughter’s three sons. The boy in the highchair is 5 years old and has been crippled since birth.
The grandmother is unable to afford the school fees, and is so thankful that an RCEF sponsor has provided the opportunity for Sedrick to go to school.
