On October 3, 2024, the Rwanda Children Education Foundation Team led by Executive Director, Jeanine Mukarubega, had a new distribution of micro-loans to 17 recipients.
Our banking manager spoke to the group. He explained that these loans are intended to promote economic development for their families and the community in general and allow them to reclaim their dignity. The loans provide a better life for the borrowers by enabling them to set up new businesses and expand existing businesses.
He also recognized the growth and development of RCEF, and that the lives of beneficiaries were improving.
Jeanine talked about how RCEF started with 10 students but now has grown to 160 thanks to God’s grace and the generosity of American sponsors.
She thanked the Bank Branch Manager for trusting RCEF and for always providing exemplary services.
The bank staff prepared the necessary documents and transferred the loans to the beneficiary’s accounts. The ladies were so happy to receive their loans.
