RCEF Sewing School Pauses to Remember the Genocide

The Rwanda Children Education Foundation’s Sewing School will take a one-week break to honor the one million people killed in the Genocide against the Tutsi.

On April 6, 1994, the Genocide started and lasted 100 days. Rwandans take time during April each year to remember that atrocity.  The Rwanda government has taken steps to insure that it never happens again.

Our mothers who attend the sewing school requested time off. Their lives have been affected by the genocide, and they have lost many family members.

We are praying for Rwanda and her people.

  1. This is a fruit from sponsorship of people having a heart to rescue women in extreme poverty. God bless you all
