Rwanda Children Education Foundation is proud of Jean de Dieu’s accomplishment. He recently graduated with honors from college where he majored in technology.
Jean de Dieu’s story started in 2014 when a friend informed RCEF of two brothers who were very smart but were just sitting by the street in a very poor part of town. They were from a family of 10 children and could not afford school fees.
RCEF enrolled both boys in our sponsorship program. They were both able to attend school and in time successfully complete through the 12th grade.
Jean de Dieu scored so high on the National Exam at the end of 12th grade that he received a full scholarship to college.
Jean’s mother has received a micro-loan to start a business. The entire family has been able to grow stronger and rise above extreme poverty.

Sponsorship of an elementary student (grades 1-6) is $325 per year or $27 per month.
To sponsor a boarding school student (grades 7 -12) it is $975 per year or $325 each trimester.
