Diane trades work for school.

The Kigali RCEF staff were visiting the homes of the children who were on our waiting list to be sponsored.

During their visit the staff met Diane, who told her story to them.  Diane’s mother could not afford to send her to secondary/boarding school, so Diane stayed at home to help her mother by working.  Diane sold fruit and vegetables on the street.

Because of this chance meeting, Diane started school in January 2018. She is now sponsored by Global Benefit, a partner organization with RCEF. Global Benefit raises money to sponsor children caught in the cycle of poverty and to help meet the needs of refugees. We are grateful to have a partner ministry working with us.

Words can not express the joy Diane feels.

Click our video page at our Home Page and watch the video with Diane and her mother expressing their gratitude.
